WINEMAKER: AMY CHENOWETH
It’s often said that great wines are made in the vineyard, but for Charlie and Amy Chenoweth, that’s less a saying than an actual fact. For Charlie, the legendary grape grower, and Amy, the family winemaker, the fruit is everything. Proudly staked is a 20+ year history of farming some of the most coveted grapes in Sonoma County, on the land that has been in their family since the mid-1800’s.
And to say that friends are family is an understatement. As a close community in West Sonoma County, the Chenoweth’s have had a hand in the passion developed for wine and farming from the beginning. Being one of Johan’s first jobs was tending to Charlie’s vineyards as part of the crew. Now as part of the Region family, we love the chance to introduce Amy’s wine – she surely has something special in that Rose and Green Valley Pinot Noir!
Balanced and beautiful – with grapes from the Chenoweth Ranch, Treehouse Vineyard, Bootleggers Vineyard and alittle Chenoweth Dry Creek Vineyard. This Rose shines with a pure line of tangy acidity, mouthwatering minerality and a crisp clean finish. Perfect for a warm summer day.

2015 Pinot Noir
GREEN VALLEY OF THE RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY
The growing season of 2015 has been described as “Early, Light and Exceptional.” There was a mild winter, which caused an early bud break, coupled with an unseasonably cold spring that contributed to smaller clusters. A quick and compact harvest had our winemakers working double-time to produce some of the finest wines we have seen in several vintages. The 2015 embodies the exceptional flavors of its growing season, bold and intense red fruit flavors with some hints of spice and a beautiful finish for which Russian River Pinot Noir is known.
