WINEMAKER: Shane Finley

AldenAlli wines are produced by Dan Kosta and Alden Lagasse – two self-made names in wine and food brought together through friendship, families and culinary passions. Since 2013, their wines have connected a sense of place with tradition. A story of cool climate winemaking, from the far reaches of Sonoma Coast to the heart of the Russian River Valley appellations.

For us, celebrating with a bottle of Kosta Browne on the table reminds us of many fond memories. To learn of Dan Kosta’s new venture, AldenAlli, through a partner winery, we were honored to invite his team into the space. The flawless collaboration between Dan and winemaker Shane Finley, formerly of Kosta Browne, only seems to improve with time. Each release transcends their shared experience. Whether it’s their Rosé, Chardonnay or Pinot Noir – it’s sure to stand out in a lineup and set itself apart.

2019 Rosé

As their first release of Rose, this wine is elegant and light on its feet, fresh and lively. Its aroma exhibits stone fruit, watermelon and hints of rose petal. On the palate, fresh cantaloupe melon flavor and light strawberry emerge. The wine finishes clean with uplifting acidity.

2016 Pinot Noir

A cuveé of three distinct coastal vineyards, the 2016 vintage offers more than the sum of its parts. A long, unhurried growing season in 2016 allowed elongated flavors to develop naturally on the vine. The ultimate goal was to create a pristine expression of Sonoma Coast elegance and this leisurely vintage.
