AldenAlli

WINEMAKER: Shane Finley

AldenAlli wines are produced by Dan Kosta and Alden Lagasse – two self-made names in wine and food brought together through friendship, families and culinary passions. Since 2013, their wines have connected a sense of place with tradition. A story of cool climate winemaking, from the far reaches of Sonoma Coast to the heart of the Russian River Valley appellations.

For us, celebrating with a bottle of Kosta Browne on the table reminds us of many fond memories. To learn of Dan Kosta’s new venture, AldenAlli, through a partner winery, we were honored to invite his team into the space. The flawless collaboration between Dan and winemaker Shane Finley, formerly of Kosta Browne, only seems to improve with time. Each release transcends their shared experience. Whether it’s their Rosé, Chardonnay or Pinot Noir – it’s sure to stand out in a lineup and set itself apart.

2019 Chardonnay

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY

The AldenAlli 2018 Chardonnay was sourced from Sierra Madre Vineyard, located in Northern Santa Barbara County near the western edge of the Santa Maria Valley. First planted in 1971, Sierra Madre Vineyard has long been recognized as one of California’s finest cool-climate vineyards.
This wine is light yet complex, and shines with a straw color in the glass. A bright nose invites delicate scents of fresh lemon curd. The nuanced palate balances Meyer lemon with slight pineapple flavors and refreshing minerality. The invigorating mouthfeel of citrus leads into a lengthy finish that echoes each note in harmony

2017 Pinot Noir

SONOMA COAST

A cuveé of three distinct cool-climate vineyards, the 2017 AldenAlli Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir offers more than the sum of its parts. Coastal Campbell Ranch vineyard provides elegance, brightness and acidity, complimented by the structure, medium-body and spice characteristics of Gap’s Crown and Sunchase Vineyard in the Petaluma Wind Gap. The Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is the cornerstone of our winemaking program, and the 2017 vintage showcases the reward of vineyard selection in cool growing climates.
